If someone's reading this, before writing the first letter, I'd like to ask you something.

If society had the patience to listen without interrupting...
what would you tell it?
Not what you'd argue.
Not what you'd defend.
Just...
what you'd want it to understand.

Every time I finish writing something, I find myself wondering about the stories that never reached the page.

The ones people carry quietly.

The conversations they rehearse in their minds but never speak aloud.

The questions they keep asking themselves because they aren't sure the world is ready to hear them.
So I'd like to try something different.

I'm beginning a new series called "Dear Society."

These won't be letters written about people.

They'll be letters written for them.

Letters about the conversations we avoid, the labels we inherit, the expectations we silently carry, and the questions that rarely find a place in everyday conversations.

Some letters may speak about gender.
Some about loneliness.
Some about identity, discrimination, kindness, mental health, or the invisible rules we've accepted without ever asking why.

And while I'll continue writing from my own thoughts and observations, I don't want these letters to belong only to me.

I'd love for them to belong to us.

So today, before the very first letter is written, I'd like to ask you something.

Is there a conversation you've always wished someone would have?

Is there a part of your story that you've carried quietly because you never found the right words—or the right listener?

Is there a question you've wanted to ask society but never had the courage to say aloud?

If there is, I'd be honoured to hear it.

You can share as much or as little as you're comfortable with.

It isn't about winning arguments.

It's about understanding people before judging them.

Because behind every opinion is a person.

Behind every person is a story.
And behind every story is a voice that deserves to be heard.

So , before I write my first letter to society...
