✍🏻 Author’s Note This story is a fictional reflection inspired by the lived experiences of many in the transgender community. It explores themes of identity, rejection, and the struggle to be seen and accepted in a world that often misunderstands difference. At its core, it is also about resilience, self-discovery, and finding belonging beyond society’s expectations. I hope it encourages readers to look with more understanding and empathy toward every identity. — Tanya

"If attraction is the beginning, what makes it become love?" Before we call it love, perhaps we should ask what we're calling love. Is it the excitement that keeps us awake at night? The comfort of being understood? The ache of missing someone? The choice to stay? Or have we become so quick to name our feelings that we've forgotten to understand them first?

Relationships are way too complicated than just a Hi or ar a hug for me.

Not Literary Fiction. Not Self-help. Not Psychology. Not Philosophy. Something between all of them. I'd call it Reflective Literary Nonfiction
